luxury one bedroom, two bathroom home is located in Makena, Maui on
the Old Makena Road. With its perfect oceanfront location, guests will
be able to enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, and diving right in their backyard.
The home is also a short walk from both the Makena Landing and Prince
(Maluaka) Beach. The Shogun Tree House! Not only is this beautiful home one of our newest properties, but it is also one of the most unique. The home is located in the sleepy town of Makena, Maui, Hawaii, just south of the resort town of Wailea. Nearby activities include; golfing at the world famous Makena and Wailea Golf Courses; snorkeling, diving, or kayaking at the nearby Makena Landing, Ahi Hi Bay, or La Perouse Bay; and relaxing at the many nearby beaches including Prince (Maluaka) Beach, Makena Beach, or Chang’s Beach. The home is also right down the street from Keawala’i Church, making it the perfect place for honeymooners to stay after their Maui wedding. But, what really makes this property unique? It is the wide open layout that invites the sights and sounds of old Makena right into the home. The first floor of the Shogun Tree house is an open “cabana” that features comfortable furnishings, a wet bar with refrigerator, two barbeques that use either propane or Kiawe wood, a TV with DVD player and VCR, and a full bathroom that has a Japanese style furo tub for a much needed soak at the end of a busy day. There is also a hot tub with an outdoor shower that is the perfect spot to enjoy a gorgeous Maui sunset in complete relaxation and privacy. It is this wide open cabana that really makes you feel like you have arrived in paradise. The interior of the Shogun Tree House has all the special touches that a luxury home needs. There are two wide screen LCD TV’s with digital cable and DVD/VCR’s, stereo, wireless internet access, and a fax machine. The interior is designed to maximize the cool, gentle trade winds that Maui is famous for with vaulted ceilings in the living room and bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, range, and all the kitchen utensils needed to prepare a full gourmet meal. There are two lanais, one off the kitchen and one off the bedroom, where you can watch the sunset. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and there is also a very comfortable futon couch that can sleep additional guests. Rates (Prices subject to change without notice.)
