Reservation Policies 2007/08 - Homes and Town Homes
Occupancy:
The occupancy limits posted on each properties web page are the maximum
number of guests including children allowed. Our homes and town homes
are located in quiet residential neighborhoods; excessive noise, parties,
and or occupancy violations will result in fines of up to $2,000/day.
Hawaii Vacation Condos Inc. also reserves the right to terminate occupancy
without refund should violations of house rules or occupancy limits
occur.
Rates:
Prime Season: January 5 - April 11, June 21 - August 20 and November
20 - 28.
Regular Season: April 12 - June 20, August 21 - November 19 and November
29 - December 19.
Holiday Season: December 20 - January 4. (Check for rates).
Rates are subject to Hawaii State Taxes, current GE @ 4.166% and TA
@ 7.25%, and subject to change.
Minimum Stay Policy:
Prime and Regular Season, 7-night minimum, Holiday Season, 14-night
minimum.
Payment Policy:
A three (3) night deposit is required within 10 days of booking your
reservation. Major credit cards are accepted (American Express, MasterCard,
Visa), you may use a credit card to establish credit only. Final payments
are due 45 days in advance of arrival, except for Holiday Season December
20 - January 4; when final prepayments are due by October 15. Unprinted
checks and or debit cards are not accepted.
There are no refunds made after full payment "date"
unless the space is resold.
**We request that All Final payments be made by check or money order
in U.S. Funds only**
Credit Card Authorization & Security Deposit:
Town homes: Reservations are not confirmed until we receive the initial
three-night deposit and a signed Credit Card Authorization Form (CCAF).
The CCAF establishes credit and guarantees payment for charges that
may result from any damages, excessive cleaning, house rules violation
fines, or loss to the property or it's contents; caused by guest during
their stay. Homes: Reservations are not confirmed until we receive
the initial three-night deposit, acknowledged House Rules & Liability
Release, and security deposit. When booking, you may make your initial
deposit and confirm your reservation with our service respresentative.
All deposits shall be held in client trust accounts; any interest
earned on security deposits shall be paid to Whalers Realty Management.
Additional Charges resulting from any damage, lost items
or excessive checkout cleaning will be charged to the credit card
on file. All items are inventoried; report any damage or loss for
leniency. Whalers Realty Management Company Inc. is not responsible
for lost or stolen items. You must adhere to all property rules and
regulations.
Cancellation Policy:
All payments are non-refundable after final payment due date unless
space is resold. If cancellation is called in prior to final payment
"date", monies are refundable less a $40 cancellation charge
and any insurance charges. No refunds are made for un-used nights
regardless of cause. Reservations are unit "specific" and
cannot be changed by guest after "full payment date". To
protect your investment, optional Travel Insurance is available and
priced on your confirmation; call 1-800-207-3565 for details.
Maid Service:
We provide a checkout cleaning only; additional maid service is available
at cost. Your unit will be prepared for your arrival including linens,
two sets of towels per person, starter kitchen and bathroom amenities,
i.e.: dish washing liquid, dishwasher soap, paper towels, soap and
toilet paper are provided but not replenished. **Beach towels are
not provided**
Maintenance:
All of our units are individually owned and decorated. Please do not
remove linen, dishes or other items from the unit, as they belong
to the owner. Additional charges will be incurred for damages, lost
items, or excessive checkout cleaning caused by guests during their
stay.
Every effort is made by property manager to
keep properties in good working order. However, no guarantees or refunds
are made with regard to the mechanical failure of appliances, video/audio
equipment, or any household systems. The earlier you report a problem,
the sooner we can solve it.
Check-in:
Instructions including lock box codes and security gate codes will be
mailed upon receipt of "full" payment with acknowledged CCAF
or House Rules & Liability Release, Check-in time is 3 P.M.; Checkout
time is 11 A.M. A late checkout "must be prearranged" and
is subject to a 1/2-day charge. Lockbox: If your property requires a
lockbox: A push button lock box is by the door of your vacation condo.
Punch in the number listed on your final confirmation and press down
on the top black button. Open the lock box and use the key to enter
your condo. This key should be left in the lock box; there are 2 keys
inside the unit.
Reservation Guarantee:
Hawaii Vacation Condos Inc. cannot absolutely guarantee specific reserved
unit numbers or accommodations. Hawaii Vacation Condos Inc. reserves
the right to substitute alternate accommodations of similar type up
to and including the day of arrival. All reservations are subject to
change or cancellation for reasons including by not limited to strikes,
owners request, sale of unit, acts of God, or failure of guests to vacate
as scheduled.
Disclosure:
Although we hire professional pest control services your experience
in the tropics may include pests, which cannot be completely controlled,
such as insects, rodents, and friendly geckos. You may also experience
dangerous ocean conditions, security issues and strong sun. There are
no lifeguards at the pools or beaches. We ask that you be aware of your
surroundings and take appropriate precautions.
**Hawaii Vacation Condos is not responsible for lost or stolen items**
Registration
PUAMANA guest's only. Pickup your parking pass and pedestrian gate code
at the clubhouse. Registration Fee: $6.00 per day, maximum of $60. Includes
first car free, add $10 for second car, two car maximum. Fee for second
car will be collected upon registration. (Subject to change).
Parking: Homes and Town homes
Please check your properties web site for limits or special instructions
regarding parking, there are some properties with a one car maximum.
Hawaii State Law prohibits Smoking in all areas
open to the public that include, but are not limited to restrooms, lobbies,
reception areas, hallways, bars, vacation rental rooms & lanais,
restaurants, retail service establishments and retail stores. Thus all
of our accommodations are Non-Smoking.
**NO PARTIES OR SMOKING ALLOWED AT ANY OF OUR PROPERTIES**
